What is the quickest way to university? (In my situation)

I have decided I want to go university next year or the following year to study computing, Information communication or information communication technology degree. I have done my BTEC IT level 3 extended diploma the grade I got is DDM. I don't have GCSE Maths and English and 95% of university want GCSE Maths and English at least Grade C. I haven't study GCSE English and Maths in 3 years so it a good idea to do the Functional skills English and Maths Level 2 this September then GCSE the following year?

On the side note I have dyslexia, when I do register for Functional Skills English and Maths in September then GCSE next year they will do assessment (test) to see if can handle it would affect me starting Functional skills or GCSE course in September?
