Why is the UK economy growing?

What is it the result of? Low interest rates and increased household expenditure due to cheaper credit? QE?

There's a host of reasons. I wouldn't say it is low interest, because they've been low for a while.

However, consider increasing house prices (Government's Help To Buy scheme may have been successful) thus increasing consumer spending (due to wealth effect), the MPC's forward guidance, growing confidence levels and thus increasing investment, increased willingness of banks to lend, etc...
