Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone - the advice has been invaluable! Think in going to try and raise my fitness with slow and steady cardio for next two weeks then try some HIIT and see how I find it (alongside resistance work)

All the science in the world wont change in what your mind is a 'good' work out, but whats important is always make progression, improve your time, distance or increase the intervals whatever it is make sure it is better than last time. Goodluck.

I was 12st7, wanted to lose around 2 stone. Lost 1 and a half stone in around 6 weeks! you'll probably average out at losing 2 lbs a week after the first few weeks, as long as you're starting early enough for these 2 pounds to add up week after week before july it's very doable :smile: good luck!
