Second year maths exam worry

Heya,

Basically i am finding the course is moving quite quickly. I occasionally miss lectures (something i want to change) but usually copy the notes
I got a 2:1 in first yeat but i am scared about this year

Is it possible for me to get a 2:1? What kind of work would be needed to achieve this

I just feel really lost like i dont have a plan

I do not know the quality of your lectures but I certainly would not have found notes alone to be anywhere near as good as the actual lectures

Do you have tutorials - are you attending those

Do you have any "study-buddies" I know my daughter is benefitting from this as a way of discussing and solving problems

Have you bought/borrowed books that provide you with additional practice

Yeah i rarely miss a tutorial, and the library has plenty of books

I think i may just have to live in the library for the next few months

Ask your supervisor/lecturer/tutor, that's what they're there for

I kinda like to try and figure out my own problems

That is fine if it is bringing success

When you are failing then asking for help is an essential step
