Greyhounds are large, but are calm and only need short walks as they run for most of it so off-lead space should be available regularly

It really depends on your personality but if you're generally calm and not into the drooling/messy/hyperactive dogs then greyhounds are wonderful. They're playful when they want to be and they'll let you kiss and cuddle them and everything. Really loving and sensitive

Springer spaniels are very energetic yes, but Cocker or King Charles Cavalier Spaniels are less so, but so loving
