accidentally favourited a tweet I REALLY shouldn't have!

on someone's profile I should not be looking at.

my profile is private and I don't follow them. I unfavourited it straight away. will they know?

I've been messing with diff accounts all day and emails aren't going through to say a tweets been favourited even though the settings are turned on, so I'm hoping they never got the notification.

does your twitter always email you when something is favourited? cheers!

It may show up that you favourited a tweet of theirs but when they click on the notification to find out what one it won't load (I think). If they were on Twitter at the time they may have been able to see it then and there.

Just say you were on your phone and didn't realise if they ask. Why does it matter though? It's just a tweet :tongue:

As far as I can work out, it only emails you if one of your followers favourites your tweet.

Not sure about Twitter notifications though.

I've had e-mails when people who don't follow me favourite my tweets but it doesn't always happen. Not sure how exactly they decide when to send the e-mails though.

Omg literally same thing just happened to me and I'm freaking out! Will teach me not to stalk :') thing is when I favourited it, it immediately bounced back saying 'tweet cannot be added to favourites' will the person still be notified?
