Benefits I can claim

Hi,

I am a student coming from a very poor family.

I currently receive some money from maintenance grant.

Are there any benefits that I am entitled to?

University grants are sometimes offered but apart from that nothing.

You're only entitled to benefits as a full time student if you have a dependent child or have a disability.

Do you receive PIP or disability living allowance? If not, you won't get benefits.

You will probably find that your student finance (you may get bursaries and stuff from your uni) may be too high for benefits.
