    Re: The Photography Society
    Not sure if this is the right place to post this, let me know if not.

    My brothers into his photography and owns a Sony A55 with 2 lenses, looking to get another lense for christmas. He mainly takes sport pictures but is looking to try new things as he gets the time.

    A few questions;
    1. Im looking to get him something camera related for christmas, but Im not sure whether to go for something directly related to the camera or something quirky (eg things like silicone wristbands designed to look like lenses) any ideas/opinions?

    2. He's not really clued up on how to edit photos etc, we have photoshop at home but do any of you have any resources youd recommend regarding editing photos eg. books/blogs?

    Im sure there was another but I forgot

    Thanks for any responses, I'd really appreciate any help! May even try to convince him to sign up and join you guys

    Does he like wearing wrist bands? How about a mug that looks like a lens?
    There are a lot of books, magazines and internet resources for photoshop.

    Maybe some stuff to keep his lenses clean?
    Does he use his camera much in the winter outside? If so some gloves that still allow him to press buttons would probably be appreciated, I know mine are very useful!

    He loves his wrist bands so Theyd be great as a small present, maybe if I mix it with one of them lens mugs (especially if theyre flasks to accompany his winter shoots) and I'll look into gloves, thanks

    Surely even the most devoted Nikon user would want to get into this room: http://www.petapixel.com/2012/07/31/...ndon-olympics/ :eek: :coma:
