where do you get your chemicals from?
I got mine from ebay... too lazy to find a shop!
£27 for dev (2.5ltrs) stop and fixer (Ilford ID11). (that includes P&P)
(apparently you can just use water instead of the stop but it means your fixer cannnot be used as much as before (generally the dev can't be re-used but the other chemicals can).

I had to rebuy my tank and spirals as I'd lent mine to a friend but never got them back (not in contact with him anymore) but managed to get 2 jessop universal tanks (universal takes 35mm and 120 film) and 1 patterson (but that one takes 35mm) (patterson are the best ones - last longer and tend not to leak), 11 spirals, measuring jugs, thermometer, and 3 Plastic bottles - all for £18! Bargain!!!

Jessops do their own brand of chemicals which are cheaper and, I think (it was a long time ago the last time I brought processing chemicals) that they come already mixed - you can dilute them (just change the times of processing) so you can get more use out of them.

if you don't have a very dark room then you would need a changing bag - £10 off ebay - they are doubled lined and best to buy a medium size so you can fit the tank and spirals in... plus you need some space to wind the film on.

there's loads of websites describing the process - so check those out and see if you fancy having a go.
(does your Uni/college have a darkroom? maybe ask to try there first)

this site is usefull.. type in your film and what processing chemicals you have and it tells you the length of time to process it for!

Took this photo about an hour ago of the partial eclipse. Thanks to the light cloud cover I got no glare on this shot (and it didn't hurt my eyes). This was just at the point where the shadow was biggest in Birmingham at about 10:16 this morning

Don't have my camera with me at work, but shot this a few days ago on my phone. Has been tweaked in photoshop.

I think my favourites are the first couple, when you got that really cool star effect from the light. Rather cool.

I've nearly used up my first roll of film and will get it processed soon. i got the 35mm adaptor for my holga as well so when that arrives, i'm going to have some fun.
I really wish the polariod back for holgas weren't expensive, i'd love to see instant holga pics!

    me too!
when I heard that you could fit a polaroid back to the holga I rushed to search to see how much.... don't think so!
if it fit other cameras too then I could use it for other stuff but all that money just for the Holga... no way.
I nearly brought the 35mm adaptor but I think it's just another mask... heard somewhere that people just make it themselves? but not sure... need to double check before trying 35mm film (cardboard where the film canister goes in???)

my first shot with the holga... I've got another film done but not so good - need to scan them and have a proper look though.

yeh you can make your own 35mm hack.
here's the link: 35mm hack. I would do it but i'm lazy and don't want to ruin anything.
if there was a hack for the polariod back, i'd definitely do it!
I really like the church pic by the way, have you got a desktop sized version of it i could use as a screensaver?

Just took these out my window. First one has no photoshop, second one has a little bit of brightness/contrast but no colour variation.
