I need some advice

I am currently a Year 11 student but in a crisis of what I should do after my exams. I want to work in public services preferably in the police force. However, I want to know what I need to do to get there or what is a better option.

At the moment I believe I have two options. 1) Go on to sixth form and study a-levels and 2) Do a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services at college.

What I'm wanting to know is, are there any other alternative options of how
I could work in public services and what a-levels would I need to take if I were to stay on in sixth form.

Join the forces as Police? You get the qualifications whilst your in, get paid to train and will end up doing what you want to do for a long time with many opportunities.

It's a big change to the normal route but it's definitely an option.
