DSA in Scotland and England

Hi,

Can anyone confirm to me if DSA covers different equipment depending on whither you are funded in Scotland or England? Are these specifications of laptops applicable to Scotland and if not does anyone know what they are? I am doing a Mac based course but know that I cannot get a Mac funded, but it would be good to have specs which will handle some of the software I use on my course.

The specs and everything are set by the English BIS dept. but I'm not aware of any differences within Scotland to the specs or legislation that underpins DSA.

Thanks for your reply. I have the specs now, it really won't manage the software I need, so not sure whither just to leave it as I will need a new laptop for that anyway eventually.
You can pay the difference to get a better spec laptop.
