Prom dates

most of the girls in my friendship group are getting asked to prom leaving a few of us dateless

the other girls without dates are stressing out and people keep asking me who i'm going with

I'm not fussed about getting a date, its one night

Is prom a date thing? Do you have to go with someone? And if you don't, will that make you the weirdo?
I had two proms and no one was even remotely bothered about getting a date for either of them. Just enjoy the night with your friends :smile:
I think only about half of the people at my prom had a date, the rest just went with friends. My "date" was a friend from my year at school who had left so couldn't get her own ticket - I know a few people who did that. Don't worry about getting a date :smile:
I didn't have a date for my prom. I just went with my friends and really enjoyed myself :smile:

I didn't think getting a date for prom was a thing, only those who had boyfriends/girlfriends had a date. The rest of my group of friends just all went together.
