I was wondering how much private study I would have to do if I came to imperial to study chemistry.
ive heard that everyone is worked pretty hard and you don't get much support. Is this true? I want to know what imgetting myself into, i would hate to start next year and suddenly have to work 4hrs a night on weekdays and 6 on weekends just to keep my head above water :frown: Just to give you an idea, I would be aiming for a 2.1 minimum .

What I want to know is how your weekly timetable generally is, and how many hours of private study you do during the week
(and what subject you study so I can compare to chemistry if your subject is something else)

As much detail as possible would be greatly appreciated

also how much different do u think the workload at a different uni (eg ucl) would be?
