CV for catering firm- no waitressing experience (Espirit company)

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for writing a CV for a catering company.

I'm a private tutor, so most of my experience is in teaching, but unfortunately business tends to dry up during summer which is when I need employment, but I also require flexible employment so a catering company would be perfect.

My only service-sector experience is working at McDonald's for two years when I was in sixth form. I've also got some volunteering and I'm a medical student so working with people/in teams is kind of my forte.

I'm just not sure how to adapt my rather academically-orientated skill-set to a catering company.

Any help? What are they looking for? How can I frame being inexperienced positively?
