Can't find a job applied to so many places

I have applied to over 200 places mostly minimum wage jobs and those requiring experience. I have been unemployed since February 2013, since then, I have only found one job which was only a few weeks at a recruitment place in a warehouse. My previous work experience includes a year as a till operator and a few weeks work experience at a primary school. I will start university in September it makes me wonder if I can't find even a part time job at least during one year how bad will it be after I graduate.

Any tips on how to find a job? Best websites/places applying?

One thing I would suggest is to ask those who rejected you why they did so, maybe you will find something to focus on in terms of your skills, so you improve?
