UCL or Edinburgh?

I've applied for Theoretical Physics (MSc) and I'm deciding between UCL (AAB) and Edinburgh (AAA).

Edinburgh Pros: Smaller (I'm from a small rural town), lots of countryside nearby, very cultural, specialized centre for theoretical physics), generous bursaries
Cons: Very far from where I live (opposite end of the country!), Extra year of tuition fees and living costs).

UCL Pros: Lots going on, good employment figures, closer to where I live
Cons: Expensive living costs, It might be too much of a change

Anyone else have any thoughts on which would be better?
Which is more prestigious?

They are both great unis and I don't think you'd be disappointed with either one of those. However...
I'd choose UCL if I were you. Even though Edinburgh is a great and beautiful city, I don't think anybody would argue that there's much more going on in London. Also, finding a job would be easier. They both have made great names for themselves, but in general - UCL has a more prestigious name (I'm talking overall, it might be different for physics). Even though living costs would be much more expensive in London, considering the fact that you're be spending one year less in London, I think it'd be pretty much equal in long-term. So just talking in general about cities and uni overall, while disregarding how good they are in teaching physics - go with UCL.

I think both are pretty up there when it comes to prestige. Personally I would choose Edinburgh though. You said they have a specialised centre, which sounds like a real bonus. Why would it be an extra year though? The MSc is a one year program according to the website.
