worth doing this degree?

[h="1"]BA (Honours) International Finance and Investment[/h]

Its at sheffield hallam, I know its not the best Uni, but they do go out of the way to help you. For example offering maths classes and advanced excel classes.
http://unistats.direct.gov.uk/Subjects/Overview/10005790FT-44BAINFI01/ReturnTo/Search
according to this only 10% are unemployed.

My other alternative is doing a Accounting degree at uni of Sheffield.

what career are you looking for?
You don't need to go to University to work in accountancy - look at a apprenticeship - https://apprenticeshipvacancymatchingservice.lsc.gov.uk/navms/Forms/Candidate/Apprenticeships.aspx All will lead to a recognised qualification in accountancy and allow you to be earning from day 1, rather than gaining massive debt. Its also a good way to find out if you actually like accountancy as a job. You could always go to University later if you decide this is what you want to do and, with this experience, probably a better Uni than Sheffield Hallam. You don't have to go to Uni straight from school!

The other 90% might just be working in mcdonnalds graduate employment statistics are a bit useless if you don't know what work they are doing/what they are paid

Things like this aren't 'essential' I guess but all you got to think is, do u wanna experience uni life? Will u enjoy the course? And check the employment rate and careers of its students afterwards. If its satisfying then I say go for it! However, only point I'd say is I don't think that uni is very good so if you are predicted/have good grades I say go for a better one like sheffield uni. Good luck x

You can get a good career in accounting and law via apprenticeships.

AAT (something like that) for accounting
ILEX for law
