I'm transferring into second year and was wondering what the options for accommodation were like?

So long as this is the first time you will be studying in Plymouth, you will be able to apply to our University managed halls of residence.
You can find out how to apply and begin the process here.
If you don't think halls of residences are for you, there are many student letting agencies in Plymouth that will be able to help you find a place to live with other students, and it is generally cheaper. the Students Union website has a section here which offers advice and guidance to people looking for a place to live, and even advertises spare rooms available.
