No clearing for Edinburgh

How come you can't get a place at Edinburgh Uni through clearing this year? I'm sure I'll get the grades I need so it's not something I'm worried about, just wondering! :biggrin:

well i think the main reason is that edinburgh find it so easy to fill all of their places* that they dont really have many spare. also, i think that even if they did have spaces they wouldnt put it up for clearing just because they want people to think that they are too popular for that... if you get me!

*there were 24000 applications to the faculty of arts and social sciences alone, when only 2000 offers were made.

They're available in the independant on results day.... not sure if they're published before that or no tho

I know people who got in through clearing last year...

Maybe they are trying to remedy the accomodation chaos of last year.
