do employers care about which uni you go to?

For example some of the FTSE 100 companies dont ask what uni you go to on your application form. They just ask for you A level grades, Degree class and and questions about yourself.

Ive got AAA at A level. but i feel on my gap year that i have run out of motivation to study. That is why I am thinking to a less ranked uni, where degrees are proven to be slightly easier.

Depends what you want to do. If you want to be the next PM or go into IB or the very top of the professions, then yes. For most others jobs it`s not that important. Generally the better the reputation the better, but where you studied is only a part of the package - your skills, personality, and potential will be just as important to employers.

Just looking at Blue chip companies, such as general management roles at tesco.
