Again sorry for this being tmi, after so many people said lube I had a go on my own using loads of lube and it was possible, just still fairly difficult. It seems the problem is at the entrance, I'd definitely seems smaller than it should be :s-smilie:

Again, visit a medical practitioner, it's their job to help you in situations like this

Sorry :colondollar: il do that, just not sure whether I'd be better to go to a regular doc or like a gum clinic
Sexual health clinic...I have found them to be more open minded and just generally better at looking at bits.

Depends which is quicker and what you're more comfortable with. Your GP surgery will probably have a doctor who specialises more in womens health and sexual health, so you could ring and ask for them (you don't have to tell them any details on the phone) A doctor at your own GPs will be able to refer you if you need it too. A sexual health clinic might have walk ins and you'll see someone experienced with this kind of thing, but if its something that needs further attention, you might be sent back to your GP to get a referral anyway...
I had a very similar problem....I went to visit my GP, who sent me for tests and to see a gynecologist. I was eventually diagnosed with vaginismus, which is where the muscles around the entrance to your vagina tighten up on attempted penetration and so make sex hard/painful. It sounds like yours could be a similar thing.
The treatment is a bit long winded but very effective and it has helped me so much - I am just coming to the end of it now after 3/4 months. As an earlier poster mentioned, it involves using increasingly sized 'vaginal dilators' to train your muscles to relax. You have to do breathing exercises and then insert them very slowly - gradually you get better and can progress through the sizes etc. Once you have finished the dilators, you can try using your partners penis 'as a dilator' - just insert it gently with no movement and with you fully in control, then gradually over a couple of weeks begin to try with movement/different positions. As I said, slightly long winded but very worth it and you can get better from it
As other posters have said, I would recommend going to the doctors but if you think there is a chance of it being vaginismus maybe suggest this to them.
Good luck!
