Who are some of the more notable staff members at Imperial's Chemistry Department?

Hi guys I'm starting my first year at Imperial this year and was hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the chemistry department, including things like its strengths and weaknesses, as well as some of its notable members. I'm planning to go into research after I graduate and so i hope to get some research experience while I'm here. Any current chemistry students can enlighten me?
