Extra time for ICAEW exams

Hey guys,

Just about to start an ACA graduate scheme at one of the big 4.

Because of a disability that I have, I was eligible to receive a bit of extra time on school / uni exams. I am currently working with my firm to try and get this sorted for my ACA exams too but it is proving difficult.

Has anyone here successfully obtained (or knows of anyone) who has obtained extra time / special arrangements for the ACA exams due to a disability? How did they go about doing it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmm odd, I was under the impression that it would be fairly straight-forward. Someone I knew was dyslexic, all they had to do was take a dyslexia test and they did the rest. She even has the option of using a PC for some exams.
