Investment banking and gap year
Hi, I was wondering if a post a level gap year would be any trouble when subsequently applying for spring weeks/internships, as in are they viewed in a bad way? Or would it be fine? If its acceptable, what could be done on the gap year to enhance my chances at getting into ib would you say? I also intend to study economics at ucl, how much of a chance would I have at landing an internship? Thanks
Nobody cares so long as you are taking a gap year with good reason and actually doing something useful. E.g a gap year spent in France learning the language and working would be viewed much better than a gap year spent on you parents sofa watching Daybreak and jeremy kyle.
