Hey everyone!
I got an offer for Human Embryology and Developmental Biology. I must have confused the UCAS codes bc i orginally wanted to apply for Biomedical Science (Developmental Biology).
Both courses got exactly the same compulsory courses in the 1st year so I was wondering if I could change to the Biomedical degree during the first year? would that be possible?

I've been accepted to both Abertay and Aberdeen as a transfer into second year for BSc Psychology, but I'm not entirely sure which to choose.
I'm planning to fly up and go wander around both cities in a couple of weeks and see if there are many places to volunteer or find some full-time work. But with regard to reputation, I haven't found much consensus about either.
Any thoughts?

Okay, thanks a lot! How long did it take for the email to come after they confirmed your place in halls?
A long time! I confirmed my accommodation in late May and I got an email with the Facebook group this week!

Hi so I'm a first year engineering student at Aberdeen Uni. Does anyone at Aberdeen Uni know what grade point I would get for an exam in which I got 37%?
I'm worried I may have failed a module. I did well in the multiple choice part of the paper but terrible in the written part. I did good in the coursework though so I only need a grade point of 7 (E2) in the exam to pass the module. I've seen the answers to the paper and reckon I got around 37-39% in the exam. Would 37% be enough to get me an E2?

Hey. I’m wondering if anyone knows roughly how much it cost per year for books for the law course.
Can someone tell me when they got their Certificate of Acceptance? I didn't get a straight answer from the Admissions Office. I got a conditional offer, finally uploaded all my documents, but it's really important to know when I will be fully accepted, because I have the accommodation thing to sort out and the prices are going up. Thanks

Hey all! One question, I am applying to Aberdeen for economics, and I was wondering how the course of study is. I have seen in some of my other choices that you will also be able to try different subjects in the first two years , and potentially be able to change your honora degree to them. I am not 100% sure I want a degree only or generally in Economics because half through my a levels I realised I enjoy maths and philosophy quite a lot. Will I be able to change my degree direction once there?

I have an offer for Aberdeen for Geography and geoscience and I attended a summer school earlier this year. I loved it, such a wonderful city and the university I really enjoyed it. But the thing is I live in Manchester and it took me 6 hours to travel to Aberdeen and cost around £100. That terrifies me and my parents are concerned about the distance. Did you experience this or have any advice on how to deal with it?

hey i got accepted into Aberdeen uni for a masters in economics , i was wondering what accommodation would be good for me ,self catered and one where i can actually socialise and stuff , they have quite a few to choose from and idk what one to choose, i was also wondering about the people there , is there many pakistanis and stuff there coz im one and so was wondering if they have many there coz im actually from glasgow.
Also would this course be too hard for me because im going straight after 6th year, no college, no bachelors , straight to a masters.
