AQA specimen papers biology

i dont know why im actually posting but i just did a specimen paper and found it extremely hard after talking to my friend he said that the specimen papers are very hard compared to general past papers and looking at past papers i find them easier,
is that the case? are specimen papers harder?

ive just marked the paper and i didnt do well on the specimen paper, should i try a past paper?
