What about someone who is sometimes in so much pain (around 40% of the time) they cannot move from their bed and can be bed ridden for days because they cannot take stronger pain killers due to allergies and can literally only take paracetamol or ibuprofen which don't even dull the pain? .

Has your mum been referred to a specialist pain clinic? I ask that because pain specialists sometimes can suggest drugs that GP's don't have that much knowledge of and which may help with chronic pain. If she has neuropathic pain it could be that drugs such as Duloxetine or Pregabalin could help without having bad side effects. It's just a suggestion.

I'm not a "tycoon" :rolleyes: I'm self employed. But for what it's worth what I make is none of your damn business.

Well I just want to know because I make over £75,000 but that isn't important ...

I want to know how you a self made man can educate me a lowly hedge fund day trader the ins and outs of the British economic system, sigh.
