Can you link to the studies? The information you give alone doesn't tell you anything, because it doesn't differentiate between people who committed sexual assault against minors because they viewed child porn and those who did both as a result of a pre-existing desire to commit sexual acts with children.

People are more concerned with making sure that everyone knows they're not a paedophile by showing how dead against it they are, than they are concerned about whether it might stop children getting abused.

That doesn't even work with a critical thinker, it's clear that a real paedophile or even actual child molester (who hasn't been caught) could spout the same party line in order to cover their backs from suspicion.

And the funny thing is that people in general would buy it.

Well, actually studies do mean something, or they wouldn't be conducted. And this is a huge study, so I think it means a lot. I do think more research needs to conducted on the matter, but I've already said that.

2. Superimposing a penis into a picture of a child posing provocatively

I'm not pedo but even regular porn, I would want to see an actual girl not CGI

Its obvious that they are in need of serious help if they have such desires in the first place. If they acknowledge and recognise that theyre thoughts are wrong and therefore dont act on it, this would show that they have some good in them. So no they dont deserve to.be hanged. They would just need to seek phycological help and sort themselves and their issues out

According to this study, legalizing child pornography actually causes sexual abuse cases to drop. I think there needs to be more studies conducted about this, but I definitely think we should consider making artificial child porn for paedophiles. I'd also happily donate old pictures of me as a toddler naked in the bath to pederasts if it spares some poor child from being sexually abused.
