I don't know where to begin with my 1000 word EPQ written report

I've done an artifact for my EPQ, which was a guide in how to make programs using C++ programming. The supervisor said the guide itself was very good, but my 1000 word report was trash, so I'll have to redo it. Does anyone have any tips how it's meant to be done? Because I'm confused and don't know where to begin. She said it had to include an explanation of all my research, but this is all I know.
I've attached what I had initially done if anyone wants to tell me where I can improve it, or if any of it is good at all.
