Accommodation for nursing student

Hello

I am wondering if anyone can shed light on how accommodation for student nurses is going to work this year. When looking on the website it says that nursing students would be provided:

Union Street Development off campus. What is Union Street Development like?

Does anyone know what accommodation for student nurses is really like?

Thanks

Hi Azalight,

Union Street Development is situated in Stirling City Centre, so it's not actually on campus.

They are all flats, so it's probably similar to some of the On-Campus flats.

Here is Stirlings Union St. Development direct page:
http://www.stir.ac.uk/campus-life/accommodation/properties/union-street-development/

There are some small pictures of the rooms on the page.
At the bottom there is a Google Street View, to show you the surrounding area.

The actual layout of the accommodation can be found here: http://www.stir.ac.uk/media/services/estates/accommodation/documents/Union%20Street%20Development%20Site%20Layout.pdf

And finally, the actual floor plan of each flat can be found here:
http://www.stir.ac.uk/media/services/estates/accommodation/documents/Union%20Street%20Dev%20Floorplan.pdf

(The red border is just the dimensions of one flat - holding 4 students. The blue one is the dimensions of one flat holding 6 students.)

It might be worth trying find someone (studying nursing) who is attending or has attended the applicant day and asking them if they managed to have a look at the Union St. Development. Even trying to get in contact with some of the nursing students who started in 2013 and asking them.

If you go to this thread (CLICK HERE) or this thread (CLICK HERE) and try and find some students who were accepted for Nursing last year and give them an email, you might be able to get some more photos or more information.

Hope this helps a wee bit.
