Help!!!

I'm not too sure if this is the right forum for this, but as I am currently studying for my degree via distance learning I guess this would be the place!

I have joined for some advice really, I started off studying for a foundation degree but I quit after a year feeling that it wasn't the right subject for me and started studying a completely different degree with the open uni. Now, I've found this perfect course in my original subject that I can study via DL, however I only have a year left with the OU and this would take 2. I honestly don't know if I would get in so I am going to apply, but I think if I would drop out of the OU I would feel like a failure.
