living at home

hi :smile:. im going to be studying nursing at university of birmingham in september and live local. I dont like the idea of halls but will i massively miss out if i dont go in them?

I didn't stay in halls when I done nursing. Depends what you feel you are going to be missing out on? I made friends with other people that didnt stay in halls either and we are still in contact, meeting up when free. I would say that maybe I missed out on some nights out and the closeness they all seemed to have but I would have found it too difficult to stay in halls.
