Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Lol, "movie guru"! I've never been called that before! Your compliment deserves a positive rep - just gave you one.

Absolutely, I was very disappointed with Action Replayy. I forced myself to watch it even after reading some scathing reviews about it - and I still had quite high expectations because I love both Akshay and Aishwarya. It was a waste of 2 hours - the story was bland and the jokes crashed badly. The only good thing about it was the songs - although I rarely dislike a film for it's songs.

I'm the complete opposite to you - I love all Bollywood movies apart from a very small minority. I'm rarely as critical as I was above - hence I loved Bodyguard and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Not only do I love the movies so much but I'm a firm believer that the Bollywood lifestyle is something to aspire to, which is why I want to go on a holiday to India as soon as possible to experience it for myself.

I also can't wait for Talaash, Ishaqzaade and Rowdy Rathore. They all appear to be very unique and well made - Aamir and Akshay especially make great efforts in any movie they lead. Arjun Kapoor's debut in Ishaqzaade will be exciting to see, and I have high expectations for it's success as I think he will make a great jodi with Parineeti Chopra (who was brilliant in Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl). Although I'm slightly annoyed that Arjun's debut has already been fabricated - apparently the producers keep raving that he was randomly "found" through Facebook and cast on the spot because they thought he "looked like a good actor". But we all know how that's a blatant lie because he's Boney Kapoor's son and has been working with film-makers for most of his life. Just makes me feel bad for the hundreds of struggling actors in India who can't secure great roles because they're all being taken up by star sons and daughters.

I don't usually watch Bollywood movies on the internet while they're still in the cinema because the quality isn't usually that good. I tend to wait until the films come out on DVD before buying a copy or downloading one off the internet. But I found this website recently where the quality is decent. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

    Hope that helps.
Hmmm u can also try Moviesmobile.net/ and it's better in terms of movie quality
    Good bless you

rip rajesh khanna an amazing actor and a heartthrob for an entire generation..prob our parent's generation but still. The songs had more depth and class then they usually do these days.

I saw Cocktail, wanted to leave after 15 minutes bout thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. I really regret not leaving that cinema. The most bland, predictable, cliche, generic movie of all time. It brings nothing new to the table and the dialogues are absolutely poor. You could tell they're lost for funny lines when they make Saif Ali Khan dance in a girl's viking costume. I know masala movies have dummed down the indian audience, but they're not 6 years old ffs.

The trailer for Kareena's next, 'Heroine'

Don't know what I think really. Looks like a mix of 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Fashion' to me.

Either way, Kareena's character has the exact same name as me :woo:

Same, liked Fashion. Didn't even watch the Dirty Picture fully, in fact, fell asleep watching it. Kareena looks cool though :L Apparently it was a very tough film for her.

    Hi guys,

I'm currently filming my own bollywood film. It's about how a guy loses his samosa at an aquarium in Delhi and goes all around India in search for it, on the way he finds the love of his life in Hyderabad and finally relocates the samosa in Chennai.

I'm looking for a few actors to play some roles, so if anyone is else interested, please PM me. You will be paid in pakoras.

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Makaveli

Yeah she was. Can't imagine Aishwarya doing such a bold role, being married and all. Also being part of the Bachchan family  Think she knew she wasn't going to go through with the film.
