It's not exactly what you're asking for, but Khanacademy has made some interesting and or enlightening videos about the Poisson distribution; understanding it as the form that the binomial distribution takes as he # of trials ➡infinity makes its uses (modelling the probability of events happening in an interval of time etc.) a lot clearer.
