Finally a finnish band doing well in Europe, ofcourse theres nightwish etc, but their music is more for a certain type of people, and Rasmus is more for just anybody.
I dont like Rasmus espicially much and hearing it on radio actually makes me sick because too much is too much, but its cool to read newspapers ''Rasmus doing well in Germany'' or Rasmus third in British single list''
I myself think that the songs sound too alike all
But its funny, hearing it in Finland makes me sick, but abroad, it makes me go crazy :P my and my friends went totally crazy when we heard it in The Netherlands, i guess its more about the thing that its Finnish and doing so well abroad....finally our music and not just always Swedish -
Tell us about it. Things like Abba and Ikea, the Swedes are so far ahead culturally(Original post by _EMMA_)
jealous?
i think that there are a lot of people that don't like finish music because they just don't understand the language.
As for the language, I can understand. It's been said that our language is one of the more difficult ones in the world, so for a non-native speaker it's not exactly tempting to learn. -
Yes....maybe just abit...a worst is icehockey, they always manage to be better....and icehockey is the one thing we want to be best at(Original post by _EMMA_)

But yes, they've always done better in music, now Finland and Denmark are started to rise though
The language is a problem, but great that there are more and more bands singing in english, like Rasmus, HIM and others like Don Johnson Big Band
