Hi guys!

Thought I'd start a thread for those of us who will be living in John Foster halls as of October! Would be great to get to know a few people! Where are you guys living?

Medicine, so quite a bit different! It's great to know people on other courses! I think my flat would be directly above yours! :biggrin:

Very different, haha! I'll have to keep an eye out for you when I arrive! (praying you don't play a loud, obscure instrument or have really loud footsteps :wink:

anyone know much about jofo? Kitchen facilities? Social life? Advantages? I'm catered as well :smile:

I'm doing English too! The kitchen facilities were pretty good and roomy when I saw them. I don't really know much about JoFo except we have the post office on our site and bus stop right next to it, so minimal walking, really! :smile:

I went to a visit day yesterday and they said that practically all of the flats are single sex but the floors can be mixed :smile:

It all depends on what you picked as well, as you could have chosen single gender or mixed :smile:

Hmm, I think I remember my guide on the day saying it was mixed, but not entirely sure. You could always e-mail them and find out; they've been super helpful so far! :smile:
