What do I need to bring to university? Kitchen etc

Hello! I'll hopefully be studying at kings college london in September in self catered accommodation and I was just wondering what I should bring with me. Pots and pans? What kind of kitchen things? Bedroom things? I know the basics but I wondered if anyone had a proper list of things? Don't want to end up taking too much or too little! Thanks a lot

You shouldn't have to bring your own kitchen, but some utensils or small white goods might be handy.

there is a long list in the wiki - you don't need all of it as other people may bring everything bar the sink. Also there are shops in London.

Thanks  where is this wiki thing? could I have the link at all?
My friends complain about the cost of using the washing machines so I recoment a washing machine cup/jar full of spare change.
Don't take too much - you know what you use yourself. Although given that KCL is in London you will have plenty of opportunity to buy once you arrive...

Kitchen:

Bowls - take a few unless you're extremely fastidious at washing them up immediately
Mugs - ditto
2 x big plate & small plate
Small frying pan, big frying pan
A set of cutlery
Tray(s) for baking/roasting
Sharp knife
Spatula
Tin opener
Oven gloves
Dishcloths
I bought a folding wooden drying rack from IKEA - we are still using it in my final year flat.

Laundry basket
Clothes horse
Cloths for cleaning - and I would take sprays too as when I arrived in my uni room it was pretty dusty.

Bedding - make sure it's warm as uni accom is likely to be colder than you are used to at home.
Towels - I bought huge ones in my first few weeks as the journey to the shower was freezing.

Personal items for your room - posters, photos of your friends/family, fairy lights (uni rooms can be pretty sterile!), bedside lamp

Clothes to wear clubbing
