His new track He's A Pirate is pretty good. It's a remix of the original film score of Pirates Of The Carribean. That may sound odd but it does work.

    as is '3am Eternal'?

    :suith: that tune

but the fact remains, that just because you don't like Tiesto, doesn't mean you can try and bombard us with anti-Tiesto propaganda, and achieve your desired result of changing our opinion. in fact, the more you try, the more we resist. :p:

It has a tiny tiny element of truth in it but this is largely sensationalist bullsh*t.

Basically, there is too much "DJ worshipping" going on in the trance scene these days. I've actually always thought Tiesto was an overrated DJ. The hype surrounding him in particular is way too much.

But to say the likes of Tiesto are doing absolutely "nothing for rave culture" is crap. And to suggest that trance is only popular because magazines like DJ Mag have brainwashed people into liking it is equally crap.

The fact is, the only reason you (and people like you) go along with this sensationist rubbish is that, quite simply, you don't like trance or, at the least, today's style of trance. Well, it's tough t*ts i'm afraid. "Rave culture", whatever that's meant to be, has changed since the days when the KLF were around. Get used to it.

Tiesto's new track 'He's a pirate' is an awsome track, my personal other favourites by him are Sparkles,Surburban Train, Lethal Industry and A Tear In The Open.

Tiesto whether the 'old school' ravers dont like him or not is one of the main reasons that Trance is still around today, him along with Paul Van Dyk has made trance accesible to so many people who otherwise wouldnt of got into the scene

i used to like tiesto a lot - and his remix of silence is my fave tune of all time. but he is way to overhyped, and not cutting it these days. he could be doing a lot more in terms of his mixing and performances ...
