    Scars
I have very bad scars on my body and these show up a lot for many differing reasons, such as burns, scratching and bites....also does not help that my skin is darker so the scars show up more and are darker.

In particular there is one very noticeable scar on my wrist and I'm sick of trying to cover it up with a bracelet cuff or make-up.

How expensive would it to get laser treatment for this?
If not, can anyone recommend me an amazing make up brand that can hide this?!

I'd recommend Bio-oil as a starter. It can help with some of this - but it depends on what type of scar and so on and so forth.

Laser can be expensive, just ask for quotations in your area ect.

People will recommend bio oil but to be honest it's expensive for what is just a load of paraffin and flower oils. It's more the process of massage that helps break down scar tissue, you could use any oil or cream to facilitate this (I like coconut oil personally). Be aware though, you will only be reducing the scar's appearance, and this may be minimal especially as your skin is darker.

If your scars are really bad you could consider laser, but yeah... Not cheap. Have a google for clinics in your area.

The best way to lighten the scars try coconut oil two times on scars. It is very beneficial and low budget. One important feature it has no side effect to your skin.

I have several from operations and bio oil worked on all but one.
Also it helps with dry skin. Natural organic honey works well...but I hate the smell of it!

No matter what I've tried though I can't get rid of pesky stretch marks.Click image for larger version.

I have a friend who got into lots of fights when he was in high school, and so he had a lot of scars on his face (got stitches a few times). He swears by vitamin E oil. I didn't know the scars were there until he pointed them out, and even then I have to look real close. He said he put it on and did a bit of massaging, and that any vitamin E oil would work.

Bio-Oil really reduced my scars as did regularly moisturising the areas, and using vitamin E oil.
