University of Leeds pros and cons!

Hello! I'm a student from Toronto (Ryerson University), and I'm thinking about transferring to Leeds University for one semester in January 2015. I'm very torn between studying in Leeds and in Amsterdam. What do you think are the pros and cons of studying in Leeds as an exchange student? Tell me about the students, night life, courses, and things to do during the day in Leeds, basically anything!
