restart year for funding - anyone know?

Hi everyone

I got into university a couple of years ago for Nursing but I eventually ended up leaving. It wasn't what I wanted to do in the end, as it was totally different from what I had anticipated. I left before the end of the 1st year. I've re-applied to unis and got into a different course, which is more than definitely what I want to do and stick at. I'm just really confused what will happen to me, funding-wise?!

(also meant so say that I've completed a HNC which was funded by SAAS, I'm not sure if that will count towards funding for a degree?)

My question is this:

Will I be funded for another year at the same level?
I've googled SAAS and how they look at similar situations as the one I'm in, but unfortunately I'm really not sure where I fall under. I *think* they will fund me but only this once before they make me pay - a restart year? but I've never been able to speak to someone who has quit their course and got into another.

I think nursing is funded by the NHS and not SAAS so you should be fine.
