Best album of all time?

It's either Dark Side of The Moon or Abbey Road in my opinion,

LOL, I have so many

DJ Shadow's Endtroducing will always be one of my faves (Midnight in a Perfect World is just :coma: )

Untrue by Burial and Homework by Daft Punk are also classics

My choice would be Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

Either Amy Winehouse's Back to Black or Eminem's Curtain Call.
Raw unadulterated angst, passion and honesty channelled into a dozen or so songs cannot fail

Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park

revolver - the beatles (although their albums are all so good...)

honourable mentions:
definitely maybe/morning glory - oasis
discovery - daft punk
nothing/obzen - meshuggah
the bends - radiohead
rise or die trying - four year strong
no control - bad religion
holy grail - versailles
fat of the land - the prodigy
the chronic - dr dre
ascendancy - trivium

yeah, a bit of a mixed bag  and if greatest hits collections counted I'd have included the cure/smiths

Spoiler

The Streets - A grand don't come for free

Boston - Boston

Kansas - Leftoverture
Weezer - Pinkerton
Red hot chilli peppers- californication
I'll probably get laughed at for this suggestion, but I genuinely think that Random Access Memories could be called one of the best albums of all time. Also:

Revolver - The Beatles
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Discovery - Daft Punk
IV - Led Zeppelin
Origin of Symmetry - Muse

Okay, maybe this is more just a list of my favourite albums.
Three days grace-One X.
The Holy Bible - Manic Street Preachers

intelligent, sometimes almost scary lyrics, you are forced to learn from it, identifiable lyrics too, the use of sound clips is excellent, songs like Faster are simply some of the best ever

Loveless - My Bloody Valentine - hazy, beautiful, lush, a classic

Turn on the Bright Lights - Interpol - post-punk and perfect. Their best

Meat is Murder - The Smiths - political, beautiful, funny, sad, their best imo

Pornography - The Cure - dark, scary, the most gothic (apart from Faith)

Darkness on the Edge of Town - Bruce Springsteen - just gorgeous

Darklands - The Jesus and Mary Chain - less noisy than Psychocandy, their calmest and most lovely
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
The Queen is Dead - The Smiths
Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Sergent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
Grace - Jeff Buckley
London Calling - The Clash
The RIse and Fall of Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie
Exile on Main Street - Rolling Stones

many others but those are the ones that come to mind...
Arctic Monkeys - AM
My favourite album is Strange Times by The Chameleons.

Bit surprised no-one has mentioned Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys as it usually appears in lists like this.
