Using matrices to solve non-linear simultaneous equations.

Is it possible to use the method of matrices to represent and solve systems of non-linear simultaneous equations?

I'm not sure, but I've only seen it used for linear SEs

It's kind of difficult to construct the matrices, though, I think. That's because squaring matrices, while possible, is really quite hard.
