Durham University Ice Hockey

Hi I was just wondering about what the status is of an Ice Hockey team at Durham University and what alternatives there are if no team exists.
There's no University Ice Hockey team, I believe there are teams in Durham and Newcastle however

I think that plan resulted in a new ice rink opening in 2009, only to close 8 months later. Now they are building offices in that site. We should press the County Council and the University for a new ice rink in the area. If there were enough students interested in ice hockey, this could work.
