Good 7%+ ciders?

Can anyone recommend some ciders that can be bought at major supermarkets and are 7%+ ABV but actually taste decent? Brother's festival pear cider is one of them but tesco stopped selling the cans so I want to find something similar.

Not quite 7%, but at 6.5% Henney's Vintage is one of the nicer ones out there.

My favourite though is Aspall Imperial at 8.2%.

Both available in the big supermarkets.

K cider..
^ lol

I second Henry Weston's Vintage
Have you considered brewing your own? It's very simple, cheap and the results can be pretty damn tasty (as well as absolutely lethal :colone:). This is the basic recipe I use - I can list different variations I've successfully made on it too.
Brother's Festival cider isn't what most cider drinkers would consider "good" though, so don't expect most of the ciders mentioned here to taste the same.

Henry Westons' Vintage Reserve is 8.2%, it's very heavy and I don't know anyone who can drink more than 2 bottles and still be "OK". There used to be Vintage Organic at 7.3% but it's now called Wyld Wood (or similar) and I think it's only 6% now. Westons are teetering on the edge of being highly commercialised with some of their ciders (like Stowford Press, and rebranding the Vintage Organic into something more hipster friendly), but they still have some decent ciders.

Aspalls can be good, but I have to be in the right mood for it.

Black Rat was mentioned above, which (assuming we're talking about the same one) is excellent.

K cider was also mentioned above. I suggest you avoid this, it's a pseudo-quality cider. Just because it says "premium" on the can doesn't mean it it. In fact, if it comes in cans then it's almost never good quality.

As Superwolf said - brew your own. It's dead cheap, fun and can be really nice if you know what you're doing, but you do have to put quite a lot of time and effort into learning how to do things well.
