I usually just call them by their last names but I used to call one of my teachers Darth Vader because I disliked him :smile:

At college (when doing my childcare + education course) we used to call one of our tutors gladys.
Her actual name was janice, but a girl in our class that we had a bit to do with kept calling her gladys, and wondered why we didnt know who she was on about. Turns out she genuinely thought her name was gladys till we told her. So although we called the tutor janice to her face, we always called her gladys behind her back.
The funniest bit was when our other tutor (who must have twigged that we called janice- gladys) nearly called her gladys in front of the whole class.
