You sound shocked about that? January intake is a very rare thing to do.
The vast, vast majority of students will start in the October intake. January intake can be arranged, but as it's so rare it would be done on a case by case basis specifically with the faculty/department/course you're wanting to join. It's generally only done by students moving from one university to another mid way through a way.
You're best off looking up the head of admissions for the department you're in, and dropping them an email to see what options you have.
