Oxbridge Acorn?
Does anybody know how Oxbridge calculate how affluent/successful your area is? Somebody mentioned Acorn scores :http://acorn.caci.co.uk/what-is-acorn

I know for Cambridge they use POLAR HE data. You can search your postcode here: http://www.hefce.ac.uk/whatwedo/wp/ourresearch/polar/mapofyoungparticipationareas/
I believe being in the lowest 2 quintiles puts a flag on your application.
