I've disowned kinder egg surprise.

Mods do not delete just because I'm an egg. This is serious.

With all seriosness don't you think kinder egg surprise are being gender bias? They have pink eggs and blue eggs. Within the pink ones you'll find girly toys while in the blue one it's all boys stuff. I thought eggs were gender less.

Now I know girls and boys can choose whichever egg they want but most boys would like choose the blue one and 'surprisingly' find boyish toys inside. It's annoying. It slowly socialises human children's into gender roles. I actually though they stopped selling them but was surprised to see a comeback this Easter.

Again, I'm not a feminist or a masculinist. I am a gender less egg.

Seriously. Egg has made a serious Post and no one wants to discuss this? Huh?
I guess but kids like it?

Weirdly enough I bought myself a pack of the blue one thinking each egg would have a superhero but it's only one :frown: I got ironman though.
Gender roles will always exist. We are brought up to recognise pink as a girls colour. I have no doubt that if I said my favourite colour is pink, I'd get called 'gay'.

Forget kids. I like I too! But kids don't understand how some of them are being socialised into thinking that blue eggs are for boys and pink are for girls.
If kinder are actually not gender bias then they could have chosen so many other colours

I thought that has stopped long ago.
I think you are eggsaggerating the problem.

No. It still exists, and probably always will.

You can't really blame Kinder Surprise though, it's everywhere. At least now children are able to choose which egg they want based on what sort of toy is inside. I remember always getting a stupid car when I was little :/ they've eliminated a problem imo

Initially I was annoyed when they started doing the pink and blue kinder eggs, but then I saw Disney Princess kinder eggs, and my opinions drastically changed :awesome:
Boys will be boys, and some don't want gender neutral toys. Likewise for girls.

But I just don't see the point of those two colours. That's what is making me angry.

I know they're not the only company who do this but they're my favourite eggs. I'll still be eating them but on annoyed real bad.

The eggyarchy is oppressing both male and female eggs and everyone would be better off without it.

I think it is better that they have distinguished the toys rather then children being disappointed if say a girl who is a tom boy really wanted say a car but get a princess and visa versa... so it is more beneficial in that sense. But I think they should have used say red and green(and labelled what "genre" of toy is inside) rather then pink/blue which are associated with gender roles. That way any gender can chose whichever, not based on with gender it is but what type of toy...if you see what I mean.

That's a much better idea than what they have.
