how do you find the bp-size of the primers used in PCR? I tried on genbank but not sure how its done. :confused:

I'm not entirely sure what context you're referring to. Are you trying to find the primers in a previous experiment? If so, wouldn't it be best to check the paper and ask the authors? Usually bps can be up to 20 bps in length to add specificity of binding.

I have the sequences for the primers I used but don't know the bp size. I checked previous papers on the same study but the sequences they used are different to mines, if that makes a difference..?
